Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin’s School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015, I have dedicated myself to the field of companion animal urgent and preventative care. My experience includes serving as a medical director at a busy urgent care facility in southeastern Wisconsin, where I honed my skills in a fast-paced environment.
I am deeply passionate about veterinary medicine, with a particular interest in enhancing efficiency within the field. In the summer of 2024, I had the privilege of discussing this passion on The Veterinary Business Podcast, Episode 39, titled “It Changed My Life,” which explores the transformative impact of voice dictation in veterinary practice. Feel free to listen to the episode here or download it on your preferred podcast app.
Beyond my veterinary work, I embrace my role as a mom, though I also enjoy hunting with my husband and experimenting with homemade kombucha—rest assured, I haven’t inflicted botulism on anyone yet!
Recognizing the mental health challenges pervasive in our industry, especially after my son’s birth, I sought a change that would improve my work-life balance and assist others in achieving the same. This led to the founding of Lando Veterinary Relief, where my mission is to alleviate the stress of fellow veterinarians by reducing their workloads and supporting clinics in maintaining their operations, ultimately ensuring continued care for pets in need.
